End of the line for Doherty?

In a week when the topic of drug influence in music is high on the agenda of every nosy parker, nitpicking politician, Pete Doherty goes and does what he does best, gets caught shooting up.

According to ABC news yesterday, the singer was videoed cooking and injecting heroine only hours after arriving back in the UK from the MTV awards in Munich. The video was then aired on a website of a national tabloid newspaper.

Any protestations that the Babyshambles singer was clean from drugs are now painfuilly transparent. Doherty, who narrowly avoided a jail sentence in August may now be open to face new questions about his habit which seemingly by his celebrity status alone has so far kept him out of prison.
