LCD Soundsystem – Someone Great
New Yorkers LCD Soundsystem release their second single from album “Sound of Silver” that brings about 1980s nostalgia.
With a single bursting with emotion and noise, almost R2-D2 synth and xylophone noises makes this a fun, yet slow single. It is so different from their infamous “Daft Punk is Playing at my House” as they have taken an almost Depeche-mode stance on this single. It’s a great song, but very repetitive and slow, but then as a song on the album it fits perfectly, as a single however I would have chosen something different.
