Glasswerk.co.uk aren't arguing with opinions that The Heavy have created possibly the best debut album of the year. In fact, we think Great Fire and Furious Vengeance is just that.

With their scratchy take on 1950's funk, dub fuzz bass and a downright Skinner-esque cheeky cockney tales, the Ninja Tunes boys and girls have done a gooden with this new record. We just can't wait to see it live.

The UK tour kicks off this month but until then you can get a free download from Myspace, an acoustic version of the track “Set Me Free”.
