Ed Larrikin's new band 'The Pan I Am' to be revealed at one off Blue Flowers night, Hammersmith

On December 9th Blue Flowers is hosting a one off special event at the majestic Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith. The night is being curated by London artist Alice and long term collaborator Edward Larrikin! Highlight of the night will be Ed Larrikin (Larrikin Love) unveiling his hotly anticipated new project “The Pan I Am” for the first time to human eyes plus very special personal guests.

In true Blue Flowers tradition the evening will also treat you to an extravagance of musical, literal and cinematic performances with some of the finest poets, musicians and filmmakers today. There will be readings from modern artistic pioneers such as Patrick Wolf, Polar Bear, Jock Scott and Barnaby Tidman along with film projections from the Godfather of avant Garde cinema; Jonas Mekas and his collective SpoolPool. And if that’s not enough to keep you completely engrossed there will be an indoor market, selling work made by a handpicked selection of the greatest talents in book arts, jewellery design, and much more!

In celebration of the event, there will also be a limited edition magazine packed with special contributions from up and coming and legendary writers, musicians, artists and poets.

Blue Flowers is bringing to the fold a distinctive theatrical event delivering intimate and acoustic performances with the finest emerging and cult artists in England, performing under its decadent and unique Jazz Club style atmosphere.

Blue Flowers introduces a rare and forgotten experience in musical gigging, embracing and hand picking all that is flourishing in the current music scene. The Blue Flowers promoters have religiously been blending modern gig goer’s rituals with a quintessential jazz club style setting. The events are now set to push the boundaries way beyond the conventional gigging experience with an all encompassing theatrical show of trail blazers and post modern artistry.

Blue Flowers has long been at the cutting edge of promoting some of Britain’s finest new artists such as Jamie T, Jack Penate, Kate Nash, Laura Marling, Johnny Flynn, Vincent Vincent just to name a few and breaking them onto the London and nationwide music scene with their unique vision. Previous Blue Flowers events have also attracted numerous cult icons such as the now infamous Kevin Spacey incident, Terry Hall, Fern Cotton, Tim Lovejoy, Reggie Yates and many more…
