DUFFY SET TO EXPLODE

The New Year could bring a bright new star to the Welsh musical landscape and it comes in the shape of Duffy. Having decided to just have one name the songstress has caught the eye of radio one and is getting a big up fro the like of Edith Bowman and Jo Whiley. Duffy also has a single entitled ‘Rockferry’ set for release on the 3rd of December via Rough Trade and she would see to be set t possibly do a Kate Nash in 2008.

Duffy has also just announced a UK tour for the New Year with a set of dates in London as well as Welsh dates in Wrexham, Aberystwyth and Clwb Ifor in Cardiff. But the most important thing about Duffy, is that she decided to shoot the video for ‘Rockferry’ in Porthamdog, which as we all know is the greatest place on earth and she even had the grace to feature the World’s greatest record store Cob Records, marvellous.
