Wanted: Britain’s best amateur DJs

Annie Mac and Budweiser are on the hunt for the cream of new mixing talent.

Clubland’s mash-up queen, Annie Mac is searching for the best amateur DJ in the UK to join her on the line up at the incredible New Year’s Eve party at the legendary Warehouse Project in Manchester. Annie has teamed up with Budweiser, official beer of the Warehouse Project, to find the final addition to the line up that includes herself, Justin Robertson, and Mike Pickering.

Since 2004 The Warehouse Project’s prestigious decks have played host to some of the world’s best DJ’s including: Paul Van Dyke, Soul Wax, DJ Hype, Mark Ronson, and Armand Van Helden. Now Budweiser are giving one DJ the chance to win the set a lifetime at The Warehouse Project on New Year’s Eve!

Annie says, ‘the winning DJ will take to the decks and join me on the line up as we bring in 2008 with a bang! So, if you think you’ve got what it takes to step up to the turntables at the Warehouse Project then we want to hear your mix CDs!’

In order to enter, hopefuls need to visit link and follow the instructions on the website. From initial entries the best five will be invited to play live in front of a panel of expert judges, as well as the general public, at a venue near the Warehouse Project. All entrants will then get to experience the excitement of the night first hand with free guest list passes to the club itself. The overall winner will be invited back, along with three mates, to play live on stage on New Year’s Eve.
