The Gun Jetty’s brand of sturdy power-indie lies not a million miles away, both sonically and geographically, from the bittersweet jangle-rock of Powderfinger. Satellite sounds like the Psychedelic Furs covering something from the Joshua Tree, whilst the quality of their music in general is bound to gain them a wider audience sooner rather than later.
