Although this CD is filled with music that Soulwax/2Many DJs could’ve produced with their eyes closed, it does nevertheless entertain, entice and intrigue. Its like listening to a Sister Sledge covers LP as performed by Jean Michel Jarre and featuring guest spots from the likes of Shaft, Soft Cell, Kasabian, Beats International and well, despite my hesitation to include them, what the heck, even Miami Sound Machine could be accredited here too! Yes it’s very random but it’s also very engaging and I’m willing to bet that a live Alphabeat show beats listening to the suppressed energy of their CD.
