Glasswerk Xmas Party – Tonight!!

The annual Glasswerk Christmas Party takes place tonight at the Purple Turlte, Camden. Pop-punkers New Royal Family will be headlining the 6-band bill, who promise (as do we) to make for an explosive and memorable finale.

Favourites Luxembourg will be providing the main support with their eclectic glam-indie sound, fusing elements from brit-pop faves and 'old-skool' pop-rock classics.

Described as a “mix of blazing guitars, shiny pop melodies and the sort of screaming normally reserved for teen slasher movies” The Rocks are surely an act not to be missed.

Hailing from Scotland, England, Wales, Nigeria and Italy, The Laurel Collective play a schitzophrenic range of pop as diverse as their backgrounds. Get in!!

Second on and combining ruthless, almost rockabilly-esque guitar picking with dark hearted vocals and some strident bass and drum work The Low Edges play taut, streamlined songs which will leave you tapping your foot for days on end.

Make sure you get there nice and early for fabulous The Abba Stripes, a cover act with a twist… ABBA hits in a White Stripes style is something sure to get your juices flowing and a great way to kick off the evening.
