The Ranchhands - Waiting On Forever
Album Review

The Ranchhands – Waiting On Forever

The Ranchhands are keeping true to the roots of classic country style yet adding a modern twist. Including the lyrics “All my friends find dates online / High-speed love saves you time,” country has obviously evolved since the days of Johnny Cash.
Waiting on Forever is unashamedly cheesy, a love song without a recipient. An ode for any country fans that cannot find love.
The Ranchhands have created an over-emotional song that almost screams desperation. Reminiscent of a Nickleback in both style and vocals Waiting on Forever is overly sentimental and almost cringe-worthy; but I imagine this is the desired effect.
