Finally a Welsh invasion of the English capital is planned for this years St David’s Day, at London's ICA, under the banner of Wales Über Alles. The two day festival (Feb 29th & Mar 1st) is the brain child of Radio 1's DJ Huw Stephens the 2 day festival will see performances by Porthmadog legends Genod Droog (pic above), Radio Luxembourg and the remarkable and totally necessary return of the one man music making industry that is MC Mabon. The event will also showcase SFA’s Gruff Rhys and Dylan Jones’ film project Separdo! (nothing to do with Nacho Libre! apparently) as well as a live set by Gruff supported by the likes of Cate Le Bon and 9Bach. So, calling all well heeled welsh people to get themselves over to the capital Gavin & Stacey style and bathe in some Welsh sweat. Tickets available here link
