Operahouse – Born A Boy

This quartet from North London look set to hit 2008 running with the release of their second single in January. The band who quietly laid foundations with their debut 'Man Next Door' in the summer of 2007 catching amongst others along the way the ears of Zane Lowe and Jonathan Ross have plied their aural assault criss-crossing the UK over the past few months and picking up plaudits where it matters…the prawn cocktail has been scoffed, the meat's about to be served and the dessert is being prepared!

'Born A Boy' races in, underpinned with a taut angular rhythm and jagged vocals that kick into action almost immediately undeniably evolving into a melody led little number.
The flip side features 'Telescopes', a frenetic track that again highlights the band's song writing ability hand in hand with the steeliness that has seen the band morph into a potent live act.

On Tour:
Feb
1/2 – Hertford, Marquee
2/2 – Bristol, Louisiana
4/2 – Doncaster, Woolpack
5/2 – Nottingham, Bodega
6/2 – Birmingham, Barfly
7/2 – London, 93FeetEast
8/2 – Winchester, The Railway
