Flogging Molly's New Album 'Float' Out April 14th

With a million and a half record sales, sold out tours, more Myspace friends than U2, and the likes of Ewan McGregor, Gabriel Byrne and Sean Penn catching them live, FLOGGING MOLLY have proved a few nay-sayers wrong in their time.

Told their trademark punk rock-celtic folk sounds wouldn't work, they get set to release their fourth studio album 'Float' on 14th April 2008 on Sideonedummy, and go from strength to strength, recently enjoying a major media boost with their music featuring in 'P.S. I Love You', starring Oscar-winner Hilary Swank, and 'Red Roses And Petrol' (in cinemas next month), and on TV in Bones, One Tree Hill, The Shield and Weeds. 'Float' is the follow up to their acclaimed 2004 release 'Within A Mile Of Home'.

It all started at LA pub Molly Malones, and eight years on they've built a reputation as one long party live. Flogging Molly have confirmed some UK dates end May/beginning June. Prior to coming to the UK, they are confirmed to perform at the Coachella Festival in California.

Live dates:

Thu-31-May London, Mean Fiddler
Fri-1-June Glasgow, ABC
Sun-3-June Manchester, Academy 2
Mon-4-June Birmingham, Academy
