Vesper - With Autumn I Fell
Album Review

Vesper – With Autumn I Fell

Post grunge with a metallic grind brings New York City’s Vesper close to the impact and atmospheric tilt of Soil. Aaron Lewis possesses versatile vocals that can leap up and grab you from an inoffensive beginning, ‘Ballad Of You And I’.

To cushion this bassist, Katie Cooper has a crisp, almost angelic backing pitch for contrast. Dramatic and gripping song structures cover the fleeting moods of a typical teen.

A tempered down Katie Jane Garside feel takes over Cooper’s vocals when she takes the lead, then the songs move towards creeping rock. Vesper has a range to rival many contemporaries.
