Animal Sounds is to be the first single taken from Grand Nationals forthcoming album, “A Drink & A Quick Decision”
North London based duo Rupert Lyddon and Lawrence La Rudd make up “Grand National”. Animal Sounds, marks an electro dance release from the London duo.
At first listen the track appears to be instrumental, with the addition of vocals taking at least a minute to kick in. The track has elements of Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode and is very much from the School of electro pop.
Animal Sounds is cleverly produced, however it lacks any energy and falls flat as it fails to excite or arouse any of the senses. The track may make good background music in a bar, however in its own right it remains forgettable and bland.
