Secret Lives of the Freemasons – Weekend Warriors

Secret Lives Of The Freemasons released their latest album last week, Weekend Warriors. The American six-piece release their load of rock anthems. With an album title track listing like this, you’re entertained before you hit play! There’s the powerful Chug and Leave, the rock-out anthem, Mascara and the crazy Xanax.

However, once you press play the excitement soon disappears. Powerful is about the only adjective that deserves to be used here. Do we really need another skater-boy rock outfit like this? Is there actually any room for any Americans in our exciting Brit industry today? There isn’t anything out of the ordinary on this album, nothing stands out on it and nothing will give you the heebie-jeebies, …despite it being on Metal Hammer’s “Album’s to watch 2008” list.
