If it’s a new pop starlet you’re looking for then turn your ears and eyes (she’s a pretty lass) to Laura Critchley.This 23-year-old Liverpudlian is the latest kid on the block that thanks to a successful myspace is set for big things.

Her debut single, ‘Sometimes I’ is a sugar-coated upbeat ditty. Laura’s beautifully raspy voice evokes old school Cheryl Crow, before she got annoying. A remix of the track has been done by Ash Howes, who has also worked with Kylie and Ms Furtado, Not exactly edgy or groundbreaking stuff, but if mid tempo soft rock chicks is your bag then you’ll enjoy this girl.
