Long Island emo ambassadors, Bayside, release the first teaser from the bonus DVD set to be included with their forthcoming release, The Walking Wounded: Gold Edition. Go to link to take a look!

Formed in late 2000, the band's infectiously melodic, melancholic take on the emo genre has since accumulated ever-increasing popularity and glowing media exposure. Bayside's long-awaited album, The Walking Wounded: Gold Edition, is due for release on July 22, 2008. The accompanying bonus DVD includes an exclusive on-the-road documentary, and a live performance to be recorded at Long Island record store Looney Tunes on Monday May 12th 2008. Fans who pre-order the release will be given entry to see the filmed performance at Looney Tunes, allowing them to literally become a part of Bayside history.

Their new video for Carry On has racked up 245,000 plays since debuting on MySpace last week. Check it out at link. The band will be heading back into the studio this June with producer David Schiffman (Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Johnny Cash) to record the follow-up to The Walking Wounded, tentatively titled Shudder, due for release on September 30th 2008.
