Jimmy Eat World – Always Be
Always Be by Jimmy Eat World is an absolutely brilliant single. The track starts well – a slow beat is added to bit by bit in an elegant way that moves the song from slow to fast. This beat follows the track the whole way through and gives it a steady background, and something for the other instruments and vocalist to work around.
The chorus of Always Be MAKES you want to dance. It’s catchy, fun and makes you smile. I almost picked up the lyrics after just a couple of listens, so the simplicity of the song works well here. The singer’s voice is strong, yet at the same time doesn’t overpower the guitars and bass, or the drums.It’s immaculately produced, as the band sound tight and well-rehearsed.
All in all it’s a top track. A good pop-punk song that will appeal to the masses, as it’s easy to learn, easy to sing and very very easy to dance to!
