Beth Rowley – Oh My Life

Beth Rowley has the misfortune of having a voice and style similar to Dusty Springfield; not because this is a bad thing, but because she is coming along with her debut at the same time as another songstress who claims just the same and is currently hogging the charts. But while Duffy is mixing the blues with a contemporary edge, Beth Rowley has a vintage charm that is all hers and voice that has clarity and yet smoulders with a seductive charm.

New single“Oh My Life” has carefree and upbeat vocals gently skipping over a big band instrumental and a hint of her favourite gospel style which makes it positively endearing, while b-side “How Could You Ever Leave” shows that Beth Rowley has a truly powerful voice that can do so much more.

This single is the perfect way to whet your appetite for her upcoming debut LP “Little Dreamer”, due out later in April.
