The Xcerts - Do You Feel Safe
Album Review

The Xcerts – Do You Feel Safe

No, I can’t come out to hang out on the corner of Spar. I’m washing my hand tonight. Not quite on the money with this energetic little number, I would also rather be washing my hand than using them to press buttons on my Cd player at this moment.

Emo by numbers ala poor mans Hundred Reasons, The Xcerts are a ‘I don’t mind green skittles but would prefer any other colour’ kinda band. In Laymen’s terms, can do better. In rock n’ roll terms, should move into 08 with more passion than their giant fringes could contain.

It’s sort of like a mucky child that you can’t give detention to because they’ve not actually been naughty, they’re simply a bit irritating. Do I feel safe? If I wrapped my ears in bubble wrap -maybe.

Back to the sticky back plastic and empty coke bottle drawing board for this built at home model.
