Sia – The Girl You Lost

Oddly echoing a speedier ‘Walk on By’, Sia’s ‘The Girl you Lost’ is a lady anthem telling of the turmoil relating to looking after those bloody useless men in their lives and just what comes from their relentless pushing of the luck factor.

The song itself is a funk fuelled, piano, keys and brass rich track that aside from the occasional refrain, pulsates along its rollicking way in a stylish, chart friendly fashion. Sia sings with a strong, defiant vocal that stirs a delightful 70s disco diva spirit and her delivery overflows with conviction.

It’s over in under 3 minutes and so for you hungry fans out there, I can only recommend you go and get the equally kickass, more diverse LP ‘Some People Have Real Problems’ (You can read my review by clicking on this [link]
