DanMingo -
Album Review

DanMingo –

DanMingo are Winston (Massive Attack) Blissett on bass, Jon(Culture Club) Moss on drums, Jerry (Hawkwind) Richards on guitar and Steve (Hawkwind) Swindells providing both keyboards and vocals.

A self-confessed collection of golden oldies they are writing songs that have a knack of getting stuck in your head. Each track is written around powerful lyrics written by Steve Swindells, turning them into rocking tunes the likes of which you only get from a ‘real’ rock band.

An aggressive online word-of-mouth campaign is getting them noticed both by the industry and also by a growing mass of fans, and their debut album is available to download online. The growing community also allows a rare chance to see the band grow and develop, as they produce new songs and improved versions of older tracks (most notably with fan favourite “Oh My God”). DanMingo are undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with.
