One board is better than two these days. First snowboarding took over the slopes now wakeboarding is reinventing and making waterskiing cool again. Dance music is at its heighest point for many years as well and Wakestock festival is combining the two for a three day party at the stunning setting of Blenheim Palace, Woodstock Oxfordshire over the weekend of 27 – 29 June. Huge crossover acts as diverse as the Streets, Futureheads to Supergrass will perform alongside the finest modern dance music from Pendulum to Hadouken! to the worlds most popular DJ taking it back to the Old Skool Pete Tong.
The mix of the most beautiful of locations, the constant party atmosphere, brilliant music on rotation should make for three massive nights. The need for chillout tents is going to big for any of us over 20 as the kids go at it Skins style all weekend. The chance to see the worlds best wakeboarders in action should just top it off and set it apart from any other festival going. Get your ticket now for the feel good festival and party of this summer, 2008! We will see you at the front with our neon and glowsticks acting our shoesize. The event is sponsored by Relentless Energy drink and that just about sums it up. We`re going to need alot.
