Cut Copy - Lights & Music

Cut Copy – Lights & Music

Wow! What is there to say other than that ‘Lights and Music’ is mind-blowing. It’s an understated mix of eighties electro pop sounds and sexy shoulder popping guitar riffs.

There is no situation where this song won’t be appropriate. It’s a dance floor classic, a summer festival anthem and a girly bedroom moment, which requires a hairbrush microphone and air guitar grooving.

Cut Copy are here with ‘Lights and Music’ to spice up our music market and it should be celebrated greatly. It’s about time we embraced the spectacular sounds of the eighties like this anyway. Is the guitar music we have known for so long slightly losing it, making way for the new babies like Cut Copy and even Black Kids…

Call them, the thinking woman’s Calvin Harris!
