Phoebe Killdeer & The Short Straws UK Tour and Debut LP

Currently breaking from a flourishing French music scene, Parisian quartet Phoebe Killdeer & The Short Straws return to the UK in May for four shows, including London's Barfly on Wed 14th May.

After a residency at indie rock venue of choice in Paris, La Fleche D'Or, word spread enough for primetime TV 'Ta Ra Ta Ta' to bill them on the same show as international chart acts like Duffy. Debut album 'Weather's Coming..' is currently No.1 on the national Feraliste Playlist.

All stark blues arrangements and rockabilly backbeats, their debut album 'Weather's Coming..', released on 5th May 2008 on PIAS, was produced by Nouvelle Vague's Marc Collin, who originally drafted Phoebe in to provide vocals for the Parisian musical collective before she formed her own band with The Short Straws. Phoebe Killdeer & The Short Straws supported Nouvelle Vague on their last trip to the UK in Feb.
