Festival Cancelled

One of Britain's new and promising festivals, Wax:On has been cancelled.

The festival was due to go ahead on the 31st of May in Leeds has been called of due to poor ticket sales. The organiser's are suggesting it is because of the credit crunch, people just were not interested.

The festival at Lotherton Hall outside Leeds was due to host Primal Scream, Reverend and the Makers and newcomers Hercules and the Love Affair.

The Wax:On club nights in Leeds, Newcastle and Brighton will go ahead.

Ticket holders are advised to go to their place of purchase for a refund.
