Restleslist - Butlin Breaks
Album Review

Restleslist – Butlin Breaks

Fans of The Avalanches, Soulwax/2ManyDJS, playful Beck, Future Pigeon, Tarantino or any spaghetti western soundtracks are surely in for a treat. As are 70s Moog fans when hearing Mr. Winchester’s Cat mix of Winterrr Part 2, delightfully kitsch indeed. Followed by a more astral Orb revisiting Mr. Speaker’s mix of the same track, this 3 tracker is as diverse as it is pleasurable. Bravo Matt, Ben and Thom AKA Restlesslist.

‘Butlin Breaks’ comes off their forthcoming (June 6th) LP ‘The Rise and Fall of the Curtain Club’ which, if it proves to be anything like what’s offered here, just be just kickass! It’s perhaps no wonder then that Restlesslist have spent time touring alongside heavyweight’s acts such as British Sea Power and Electric Soft Parade amongst others.
