2008 has seen a renaissance in synth based space rock. Foals led the way and hot on the heels into the stratosphere are Castle Donington’s newest export since Download Late of the Pier.

“This is no place for a mind or a thought” sings Sam Eastgate whilst canoodling with Gary Numan’s keyboard player. This is a regular plod along through a 2008 indie Dance floor and it is not as startling as either LOTP’s contemporaries or even their ridiculously off kilter previous efforts.

Come on lads you don’t have to keep your feet on the ground, whilst your heads are in the clouds.
