Pin Me down – Cryptic

Lacing guitar riffs as sharp as his fringe with the vocal talents of Melina Mepris, Russell Lissack of Bloc Party fame creates an interesting electro-pop blend in Pin Me Down’s debut single Cryptic, which kicks off with the sound of a lorry reversing. Go figure. This isn’t exactly a ground-breaking sound but the record works as an anthem and should be popular across the board, satisfying the electro-belles and riff-junkies both.
