Wide-eyed vocals from Maddy Wilde and a punchy chorus punctuate Voodoo, new single from Toronto Quartet SpiralBeach, and lift it above being just another Syd Barrettesque homage. Snatches of instrumentation and overt changes of pace create a slightly psychedelic feel to what is a catchy and pithy single.
