An interesting if very uneven EP from Kidnapper Bell. The main strengths seem to be the second and fourth tracks where the band let their mellow tendancies come to the forth, but still brewed to strength with a chaotic guitar undertone. There is some very interesting guitar going on in the other tracks too, but the more the band try to be purely loud they end up making just noise. When that noise is used as a support tool it works much better to their advantage. As it seems to be an even split between the two at this juncture it is hard to say what they may make of themselves in the future.
