The Duke Spirit – My Sunken Treasure
The lead singer Liela has a great distinctive voice. I feel that sometimes in this single the band needs to come back a bit and let the singer have more of a solo spot, as it’s all a bit overbearing. The piano that isn’t listed on the cover plays at exactly the same time as the vocals, all the way through, and it just makes the track a bit samey and annoying. The tune is quite catchy and it has the makings of being a great song, they just need to stop over producing the sound, and using too much piano.
