The Music Back With 'The Spike' Single

The Music have announced details of their new single, 'The Spike', which will be released through Yes Please / Polydor on August 11th 2008.

Produced by Flood (Killers / U2) and Paul Hartnoll (ex Orbital) and recorded at The Townhouse in London, the single is lifted from their recent top twenty album, their first in four years, 'Strength In Numbers', which was released in June.

Having sold in excess of one million albums worldwide, the band returned in 2008 with their third long player following the release of their self-titled debut in 2002 and 'Welcome To The North' in 2004. The new record documents a turbulent four years during which the band came close to collapse and is full of rediscovered optimism and drive.
