Like A Thief – The Hours We Kept

At first it’s very hard to familiarise yourself with this band, their jagged and slightly awkward sound is hard to pigeonhole and doesn’t open itself up very easily, meaning initially its not too kind on the ears.

However if you stick with it, you’ll get a nice reward as it’s got hidden depth and an interesting and eclectic mish mash of influences, one comparison that springs to mind is that it could be a young ‘Gwen Stefani’ fronting ‘Squeeze’. It’s a feel good upbeat almost jazzy sound that certainly wont be to everyone’s taste but they’ve created something different that I’m sure will steal the admiration of many and affirm them a loyal following.
