Ladyhawke's first single “Paris Is Burning” is released just in time for the summer on Monday 30th June and will be available on CD, 7″ and download through Modular/Island.
“Paris Is Burning”, follows the download only “Back Of The Van” available earlier this year. It will be accompanied by exclusive remixes by Alex Gopher, Kid Gloves and one of Ladyhawke's biggest fans electro queen Peaches.
Ladyhawke is the alterego of New Zealander Pip Brown who was raised in the 80's with a musical family and grew up listening to the likes of Stevie Nicks, Deep Purple and Joan Jett. Beginning as the drummer in a school band, Pip now plays over ten instruments. She moved to Sydney a few years back and now resides in London where she wrote her forthcoming debut album which is due for release in September.
