Honey Trap – Follies In Great Cities

Honeytraps lively folk induced album is like listening to a live rant with a few wonks and kinks in the tone. It’s an uneven tone that continues through the album. There is certainly passion behind the album, but maybe that passion belongs to people who are trying to outstretch the limits of their resources… be that musical composition, or vocal talent.

There are ideas here that need fine tuning, and if that’s possible then who knows what Honeytrapp may be capable of producing. But they need to start with the sound production itself. There is certainly alot of decent material suited to live shows. And for now that’s probably where they will get their bread and butter from.
