Hercules And Love Affair – You Belong

The latest single to be released from Hercules & The Love Affair’s self-titled debut album is one of the best, and most accessible, tracks on the album.

Vocals are provided by Nomi and Antony Hegarty (from Antony And The Johnsons), the former providing the sultry feminine lead vocals and the latter acting mostly as a vocal accompaniment. Also thrown in the basic mix are samples from Inner City’s “Good Life” and acid house influences adding up to what could be the perfect track to liven up the dance floors this summer simultaneously providing a chilled out sound with a jazzed up beat.

Not content to stop there they have also released a number of remixes by Riton, Kevin Sanderson, their own club mix and the old faithful instrumental version so if the radio edit doesn’t quite fit your needs you’re sure to find something better suited on the single release. This is easily the best that Hercules & The Love Affair have produced so far.
