Hungover Stuntmen Tell Of Their Recent 'Ibiza Rocks' Residency

Newcastle mod-rockers Hungover Stuntmen are finally back from their rather long jaunt to the sunshine of Ibiza, taking part in the Ibiza Rocks gigs. Along with playing countless shows they also had the chance to get to work on their new album.

Talking on their MySpace blog, the band wrote “We have just got back from Ibiza where we spent the last two months recording new demo's and playing shows for Ibiza Rocks. We played something like 36 gigs while we were there. It was like being the Beatles in Hamburg! We had an amazing time and met some lovely people along the way. While we were there we played shows with The Wombats, The Mystery Jets, and For One Night Only. It was great to meet up with the Wombats again. And a real pleasure watching The Mystery Jets perform.

The highlight for us was meeting and getting to know The Underground Heros. We played gigs with these guys every night and its fair to say we bonded and have future plans to form a super group! If you aint heard The Underground heros then you must check them out!!! They have a track called “Skinny Twins” which is available as a single right now, so buy it!!!

We also met up with our producer Andy to start working on idea's for the next album. We have eight new songs so if you come and see us live in the near future we may slip a couple of new ones in for ya. Anyway its good to be back and we look forward to seeing you all soon.”

Hungover Stuntmen will play Bonded Warehouse, Sunderland on 25/09/08 and Carling Academy, Newcastle on 31/10/08
