Between The screams - Embryo
Album Review

Between The screams – Embryo

A bit of british rock sounding very much like american rock, Between the Screams is good for having one of those names that make you giggle in agreement. Why? Well because they are at their best when their singer is shutting up. The music is hardly inspirational – It is more inspired by others than ready to pass anything new onto anyone else.

The press release that came with the EP mentions the Deftones in conjunction with their sound. And that is certainly true. Fans of that great band might find something diverting here and closer to home for them to enjoy.

The two even numbered tracks are actually quite good and they are more instrumental orchestral pieces. So whomever is responsible for those works might want to focus on that as their future as it does have talent to it.
