Ladyhawke Announces Headline Tour

Ladyhawke – aka New Zealand girl Pip Brown – embarks on her first UK headline tour at the end of September, kicking off on 30th September at Komedia in Brighton and ending at Scala in London on 7th October. She will then play a set of debut American shows before joining Black Kids on the second-half of their European tour from the end of October.

Pip Brown was raised in the 80’s with a musical family and grew up listening to the likes of Stevie Nicks, Deep Purple and Joan Jett. Beginning as the drummer in a school band, Pip plays four different instruments on her debut album. She moved from her small town in New Zealand to Sydney a few years back and then moved to London in 2007 where she wrote and recorded her forthcoming debut album.

Her eponymous debut album is released on Monday 22nd September and includes recent singles ‘Back of The Van’ and ‘Paris Is Burning’. Also on the album will be the forthcoming release ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ which will be available from Monday 15th September.
