This album is like a punk singer leading a burlesque indie rock band. What that might sound in your head right now could well be something very different to what is on this CD as it is quite a bizarre thing to be. And it is quite a bizarre thing to hear. The repetative vocals are undoubtidly punk, and it is much more spoken than sung. The music backing this up is 100 time better, but strangely it is music that is deserving of something quirky or weird to lead it.
But it is Circus Folk freaks let lose on the world; and for the better part of it all they succeed in developing their own sense of surreality in the atmosphere they have created.
