Drever, McCusker & Woomble – Siver & Gold
Idlewild say-smith Roddy Woomble teams up with a few revellers from the folk world and the drummer from Radiohead to deliver us the string laden lite-fest “Silver & gold”.
Woomble delivers on the vocal stage as is par for the course, the track fits within its traditional folk mould like a cat in a waistcoat, though isn’t as lastingly enjoyable as that image. Lovely, though uninspired.
