My Emergency –

My Emergency should be everyone’s favourite pop/rock band. Even though they hail from Liverpool the comparision to Fall Out Boy is hard to ignore. They fit perfectly into that genre and make a damn good job of it too. They even sound American, they are the complete polar opposites of other Liverpool bands such as The Zutons or The Rascals. You can’t localise their sound yet this isn’t necessarily a bad thing as it makes them stand out in the local scene.

Described as ‘the sound of a billion restless youths, condensed into five balls of furious energy…’ this sums them up perfectly, this energy is so prominent it’s actually quite catchy.
