Music sales planned for You Tube

Google owned giant YouTube plan to start selling music and experimenting with new advertising formats to improve revenue.

It will sell music through a newly developed e-commerce service. Other products will also be included in the service such as films, TV shows, video games, books and other media-related products featured on YouTube.

Music videos viewed on YouTube will be linked to itunes and Amazon so browsers can buy the tracks they listen to.

It is expected Amazon and iTunes will share revenue with YouTube when users buy music.
