In Case Of Fire - This Time We Stand
Album Review

In Case Of Fire – This Time We Stand

Shamelessly appreciative of grunge/old school metal days gone by and a crush on the revolving bass line, like that of a teenager on their teacher, is a proud and not all that bad way of introducing yourselves, through your debut single to a growing alternative scene.

Steven Robinson uses his stark, grizzly and slightly desperate lead vocals to contrast with some frothing at the mouth backing, fully exploiting the volume and hard-hitting lunges of his percussionist sibling, Colin. The latter member does a worthy job at freeing his element from the masterful bass stranglehold.

With ‘This Time We Stand’, it is a message of old is good, but we’re dragging it forward and, it appears that people are ready to listen and heed this message.
