Oasis plan 'Super Gig'

Oasis will play Slane Castle in 2009.

Oasis have announced details that they will play Slane Castle in Ireland on June 20th 2009.

The band supported REM at the venue in 1995 but will headline this 100,000 capacity show.

Oasis have also reported that they will be playing another 'Super Gig' in Manchester but have not yet revealed the venue.

Tickets for the Slane Castle show will go on sale at 8am on October 24th.
