Das Pop – Das Pop

This is a nice album that uses some cool instruments including a mandolin if my ears are right. I love the vocal style, its nicely in tune and there are some nice catchy melodies.
The band is really tight and this is a great album with some good style merging.
The chorus’s in each song seem just so well written, particularly in track 3 ‘Wings’, with the great introduction of the woodblock in the drum kit.

Each song has a nice development towards the chorus and I love the way that the new instruments appear for a short time. I think there was even a marimba in there somewhere.
There are a lot of changes in pace throughout the album, some songs make you want to jump around, and others make you think about things.
Its very well written, and the production is great, especially with all the different instruments used.
