The Chemists – Radio Booth

Eddie Vedder fronting Joy Division is not your average description for a modern band. The Chemists’ experimenting seems to have paid off with ‘Radio Booth’, probably the final single before unleashing their increasingly awaited debut album early next year.

Johnny Benn’s masterful vocal stroke bounces of the rumbling rhythmic lead guitar of Sam James, like Joe Calzaghe’s punches did off Roy Jones’ face.

The Chemists are capable of continuing to show a different slant to the heavier end of the indie market and seem unlikely to get caught up in current fads and trends, how dare they be so independent spirited!
