TOTP Is Not Making A Comeback
The BBC has rubbished those reports in The Times that Top Of The Pops is to be revived next year. The Times quoted a BBC executive as saying he thought TOTP would be revived “eventually”, like 'Top Gear' and 'Doctor Who' – I don't think anyone thought it would reappear as soon as next year. A BBC spokesman said yesterday: “Despite continuing speculation, there are currently no plans to bring back a weekly Top of the Pops programme on BBC television”.
Bring it back, bring it back!
